DESIGNING THE FAMILY SESSION
Here is how the family photography experience with the Sison family began. We met up with them in our Sacramento studio one late afternoon. We quickly found out that this family is looking for beautiful and artistic family portraits to display at their home. Sison’s family has three beautiful children – two sons and a daughter, as well as a little family dog.

FAMILY PORTRAITS AT THE WILLIAM B POND PARK
The day of scheduled photo session came, and Bidun Studio family photographer met up with the family at the William B Pond park that’s located at the bank of American River, that’s in Sacramento, California. The Sison family all arrived in well color-coordinated outfits – thanks to the mood board that we created together for their family photo session.
Being one of my favorite outdoor location spots in Sacramento, the William B Pond park offers so many beautiful natural backdrops. With lots of greenery in the springtime and tall yellow grass in the summertime, it’s really up to each individual or family to decide which type of scenery complements their portrait photography session the most! And with a gorgeous river nearby, we can get really creative family portraits and children portraits for your lifetime memories.
GETTING TO KNOW YOU ON PERSONAL LEVEL
Before any portrait photo session, it’s ideal to get to know each member of the family on a personal level. It will result in a much more relaxed time during photo session and authentic family portraits. It didn’t take much time for the three children and me to get acquainted with each other, and we proceeded with creative family portrait photography.
After getting all the group shots of the parents, children, and their family dog, we were free to take more artistic images of the smaller groups and individual portraits. Children were running around, enjoying a warm late-summer afternoon, the dog was happily racing children and some butterflies. The atmosphere at this Sacramento family photography session was at ease, and everyone was enjoying the gorgeous sunset.
PHOTOS THAT SHARE THE FAMILY LEGACY
The family photo session at William B Pond park ended with two older boys getting completely wet by splashing in the warm river water. Everyone enjoyed the portrait taking and the time they spent together as a family.
